I grew up in the town of Luton in England . I  joined the Royal Navy  signed up for seven years at the age of eighteen on completion of my term in the service during the 6o’s  I came to Canada ,where  I  have lived since that time.My navy training enabled me to become a marine engineer, a trade that  I worked at for the next fifty years.
